"My favorite part of my job is helping buyers find the right property for them. Although you need to be available when your clients are, I prefer this to a structured eight-hour workday. I also get to see lots of beautiful homes and I've learned about the different towns in the area."
Ellen Leighton
Ellen discovered a career in real estate quite unexpectedly after a casual tip from a friend. The two had a mutual friend who was a broker and taught real estate. Turns out, real estate was a perfect fit for Ellen. She joined her friend’s company in 1985 after earning her license and is still going strong today. Ellen likes the diversity of the people she meets along the way, many of whom have become good friends.
When she’s not selling real estate, Ellen serves in an elected position in Dover as Supervisor of the Checklist for Ward 1.
